Ingredients
3 cup(s) | flour |
2 cup(s) | sugar |
1 cup(s) | sparkling water |
1 cup(s) | oil |
4 | eggs |
1 pack(s) | baking powder |
1 pack(s) | vanilla sugar |
1 kg | plums, halved and stones removed |
icing sugar |
Instructions
Whisk the eggs with sugar and the vanilla sugar until creamy. Add the sieved flour and the baking powder in turn with the water and the oil, stirring constantly.Preheat the oven to 180°C. Pour half of the batter onto a lined baking tray. Layer the plums onto the cake base and cover with the remaining batter.
Bake for 40-50 minutes until golden. Serve dusted with icing sugar.
