Pumpkin spice bread details
- Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 3-1/2 cups sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1-1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup corn oil
- 2/3 cup water
- 4 eggs
- 1 can pumpkin (single pie size)
- 1-1/2 cups chopped walnuts
Mix together flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and baking soda. Add the corn oil, water, eggs and pumpkin. Mix well with hand mixer. Stir in nuts.
Pour into 3 loaf pans that have been well greased and floured. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until knife inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean.
Preparation time is about 20 minutes; these loaves freeze well.
