Pumpkin cookies recipe details
This is a recipe that I got from my Home & Career Skills teacher (last year in 8th grade). We made them in one period, which is 40 minutes and that includes waiting for them to bake, and the whole class loved them. I just thought I might share the recipe.

Ingredients
Serves: 12- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/3 cups oats
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of melted butter or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 12 mins1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. First, put all of the dry ingredients in a small bowl and mix them together.
3. Next, beat the eggs, butter, sugars, and vanilla in a larger bowl. Then add the pumpkin to the large bowl.
4. Mix the dry ingredients from the small bowl into the large bowl.
5. Lastly, take about 1 inch, or 1 1/2 inches if you want bigger cookies :), of the dough and drop it onto a greased cookie sheet. Repeat this until you have no more dough in the bowl.
6. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven until the edges get brown, about 12 minutes.
