Pumpkin cheese bread details
- Ingredients:
- 2-1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups cooked or canned pumpkin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 4 large eggs at room temperature
- 3-1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray pan(s) with cooking spray. In large bowl of electric mixer, beat sugar, butter, and cream cheese until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat in pumpkin. In another large bowl, combine flour, salt, cinnamon, baking powder, and cloves with a wire whisk. Gradually add to pumpkin mixture, stirring just until moistened. Bake in 2 large loaf pans (9 x 5 x 1-1/2 inches) or 6 small pans for 40 minutes. Let cool on rack for 10 minutes before removing from pans. Cool completely before slicing.
