Puff pastry foldovers with goat s cheese and nectarines recipe details
Ingredients
4 sheet(s) | frozen puff pastry |
100 g | fresh goat’s cheese |
1 tbsp | crème fraîche |
vanilla salt | |
1 | nectarine |
1 | egg, separated |
Instructions
Spread the puff pastry on the working place to thaw.Mix the goat’s cheese with crème fraîche until smooth and season to taste with vanilla salt. Place the nectarine briefly in boiling water, then peel the fruit. Cut the pulp from the stone and dice the pulp.
Roll out the puff pastry to squares. Spoon the cheese mixture in the centre of the pastry squares and divide the nectarine pieces on the cheese.
Brush the edges of the pastry with egg white, fold over the squares diagonally and press the edges firmly together.
Place the foldovers onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush them with egg yolk. Bake in the preheated oven at 200°C (fan on) for about 18 minutes.
Serve warm.
