The sauce is sweet and wonderful!! Great on Chinese dumplings, duck and any meat.

Ingredients
Serves: 8- 20 prunes
- 2 cups red wine
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons flour
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. Combine the prunes, red wine, water, honey, vinegar, ginger, and cinnamon in a large saucepan. Cook over low heat for 25 minutes.
2. Remove the prunes from the sauce and extract their pits. Chop pitted prunes finely in a food processor.
3. Stir the flour into the sauce; mix will.
4. Return the prunes to the sauce. Cook and stir over low heat for an additional 5 minutes.
