Prosciutto wrapped mozzarella recipe details
Ingredients
150 g | sundried tomatoes in oil, chopped |
6 sprig(s) | thyme, chopped |
4 | mozzarella balls, 125g each |
12 slice(s) | Prosciutto di Parma |
½ head(s) | lettuce, sliced |
salt and pepper | |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
Instructions
Mix together the tomatoes and the thyme. Cut the Mozzarella balls in two and sprinkle the cut surface with salt, pepper and the tomato mixture. Put the parts together again and wrap tightly each mozzarella ball with 3 slices of Prosciutto.Preheat the oven to 150°C. In a pan, heat the oil. Quickly fry the mozzarella packages from all sides until crispy, then place into an oiled casserole dish and bake for 5 minutes in the oven.
Arrange the lettuce on 4 plates and place a mozzarella package on top of each. Serve with fresh baguette.
