Potato stew with bangers recipe details
Ingredients
1.2 kg | potatoes |
250 g | onions |
1 clove(s) | garlic |
4 tbsp | olive oil |
2 tbsp | mild paprika powder |
2 ½ tsp | hot paprika powder |
2 tbsp | white wine vinegar |
1 l | beef stock |
250 g | carrots, diced |
250 g | celeriac, diced |
salt and pepper | |
400 g | sausage (bangers), approx. 3-4 sausages |
350 g | Artisan salami |
1 bunch(es) | marjoram |
200 ml | single cream |

Instructions
Peel and quarter the potatoes. Dice the onions and mince the garlic.Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions. Dust with mild and hot paprika. Stir in the vinegar, add the broth and bring to the boil.
Add the potato wedges, carrots, celeriac and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water if necessary.
Heat oil in another pan and sauté the bangers, then cut in slices. Cut the salami in small cubes. Add the sausages to the Hot Pot and cook for further 10 minutes.
Add the marjoram and the single cream to the stew, check seasoning and serve.
