Potato casserole with walnut crust recipe details
Ingredients
750 g | potatoes |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
2 | leek, cut in rings |
250 g | mushrooms, cut in slices |
salt and pepper | |
50 g | grated Cheddar cheese |
2 | eggs |
300 g | sour cream |
freshly ground nutmeg | |
30 g | chopped walnuts |
Instructions
Cook the potatoes for 20 minutes. Drain, peel and cut in slices. Heat the oil and sauté the leek and the mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper.Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Layer the vegetables and potatoes in turn in a greased casserole dish. Mix the Cheddar with the eggs and sour cream and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour over the vegetables and sprinkle with the walnuts.
Bake for approximately 40 minutes.
