Pork fillet with minced pork and crispy speck recipe details
Ingredients
400 g | pork fillet |
2 tsp | olive oil |
1 | onion, diced |
1 clove(s) | garlic, finely diced |
1 small | red chilli, finely chopped |
250 g | minced pork |
1 | egg |
50 g | speck, finely diced |
some | freshly ground black pepper |
some | mild paprika powder |
some | dried thyme |
some | salt, not too much if the speck is very salty |
1 pinch(es) | turmeric |
130 g | speck, sliced |
Instructions
Place the fillet in an oiled casserole dish. Season with pepper and a little salt.sautee the onion, garlic and chilli in the oil and set aside to cool down.
Mix well minced pork, egg, diced speck, spices and onion-garlic-chilli mix. Place the farce onto the fillet followed by the speck slices.
Bake in a fan-forced oven at 160║C for about 1 hour.
