Pork fillet with apple and walnut sauce recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | pork fillet |
2 stalk(s) | celery, finely diced |
1 small | apple, peeled, cored and finely diced |
6 | walnuts |
2 tbsp | sour cream |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
2 tsp | lemon juice |
1 tbsp | oil |
2 tbsp | mayonnaise |
Instructions
In a large pan, heat the oil. Fry the meat all around over high heat for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce the heat and cook for 12 minutes, turning frequently. Wrap the meat in aluminium foil and allow to stand for 5 minutes.Roast, then chop the walnuts. Mix together the mayonnaise and the sour cream. Stir in the celery, apple and nuts. Season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
Cut the meat into thin slices and serve with the apple and walnut dip.
