Pollo alla diavola recipe details
Ingredients
4 piece(s) | chicken breasts |
150 ml | virgin olive oil |
1 large | lemon, freshly squeezed |
3 small | red bird eyes chillies, finely chopped |
6 leaves | fresh sage |
1 medium | red onion |
2 clove(s) | garlic |
150 g | butter, softened |
100 g | parsley, fresh |
Instructions
Put the chicken breast either between two sheets of cling film or two sheets of baking paper and flatten to about 1.5 cm by gently tapping with a rolling pin.Put chicken breasts in a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, chopped chillies and sage leaves and pour it over the flattened chicken breasts and let marinate for 30 minutes.
Season with pepper and salt.
Mix butter, garlic, onion and parsily in a food processor to a paste.
Fry chicken in a large pan or place it under the grill and baste with the marinade. Takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken breasts.
Serve chicken with a dollop of the butter mixture and let it melt on the top
