Poached eggs in coconut milk recipe details
Ingredients
4 medium | eggs |
400 medium | coconut milk |
2 medium | onions, finely chopped |
½ tsp | turmeric powder |
½ tsp | cumin seed powder |
½ tsp | coriander powder |
2 tbsp | coriander leaves, minced |
salt, to taste | |

Instructions
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions till they are golden brown. Add seasoning, stir well, then season with salt.Make four hollows in the onion mixture and drop a raw egg into each hollow. Pile the cooked onion th eggs. Cover the pan and simmer until the eggs poach.
Pour the coconut milk over the eggs and simmer until the milk thickens. To serve sprinkle with coriander leaves.
