Plum butter cake recipe details
Ingredients
For the dough: | |
250 g | flour |
3 tsp | baking powder |
125 g | low fat curd cheese |
5 tbsp | milk |
5 tbsp | oil |
50 g | suger |
For the Filling: | |
150 g | almond paste |
150 g | plum butter |
To brush on top: | |
1 tbsp | condensed milk or single cream |
Instructions
For the dough sieve flour with baking powder in a bowl, add curd cheese, milk, oil and sugar. Knead with a hand mixer for 1 minute. Roll out ca. 25 cm X 30 cm, half lengthwise.For the filling cut almond paste in small pieces and mix with plum butter.
Brush the filling on the dough stripes, leave an edge of 1 cm. Roll the stripes from the longsides. Twist the dough stripes around each other and place into a loaf pan. Cut the bow with a knife ca. 0,5 cm deep.
Brush with condensed milk. Bake for 35 minutes at 160°C-180°C.
