Plum and honey souffl recipe details
Ingredients
55 g | castor sugar |
4 | plums |
4 medium | eggs, whites only |
2 tbsp | honey |
1 tbsp | rose water |
Instructions
Grease 4 ramekins and sprinkle with some sugar and set aside.Place plums in a heatproof bowl, add boiling water and cover for 2 minutes. Drain the water and allow it to cool. Pit, Skin and chop the plums.
Combine the plums, remaining sugar and honey in a pot and stir until it is a jam like consistency.
Whip the egg whites until soft peaks form. Add the hot plum sauce and rose water. Whip until well mixed.
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Fill the ramekins with the plum mixture and place them in the oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
