Ingredients
Serves: 12- Cake:
- 1 (18.25 ounce) box white cake mix
- 2 (3 ounce) packages pistachio pudding
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon orange rind
- 4 – 5 eggs
- Frosting:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 (3 ounce) package pistachio pudding
- 1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip(R) or Cool Whip Lite(R) whipped topping
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 45 mins | Extra time: 30 mins1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an angel food pan.
2. Beat all cake ingredients except eggs with an electric mixer approximately 4 to 6 minutes on Medium until well blended. On low, mix in eggs one after another, allowing each egg to blend in before adding another. For a richer cake add 5 eggs, for lighter, add 4. Pour batter into pan.
3. Bake until a toothpick comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes. The top should have bright green cracks in it. Allow cake to cool completely; remove from pan.

5. Beat cream until it forms stiff peaks. Fold in pudding and Cool Whip. Frost cake and enjoy! Refrigerate leftovers.
