Ingredients

3 l	water
2 l	orange juice
2 large	pineapple chunks
2 kg	sugar
700 ml	orange juice
4	oranges, rind removed and cut into segments
	ice cubes or crushed ice
sprig(s)	fresh mint for decoration

Instructions

Heat 1 litre of water and sugar in a saucepan. Stir until the mixture comes to the boil. Boil for 10 minutes and cool.

When cooled add the pineapple chunks, including the syrup, orange and lemon juice, orange segments and another 2 litres of water. Mix well. Put in refrigerator and chill for about 2 hours.

Pour over ice cubes or crushed ice into fancy glasses and decorate each with a sprig of fresh mint.

Alcoholic Variation:Add any spirit of your choice to spice up this refreshing summer drink for a party.
