Pike chowder recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | pike fillets, washed, pat dry, cut into serving size pieces |
600 ml | tomato juice |
1 medium | onion, sliced |
3 | lemon slices |
1 | bay leaf |
parsley, chopped | |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Combine ingredients, except pike and parsley, in a large saucepan and heat over medium heat.Add pike and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until fish is tender.
Remove bay leaf and lemon slices. Serve in soup bowls and sprinkle with parsley.
