Phil's seafood stuffed mushrooms recipe details
This recipe originally comes from my good buddy Phil. I slightly altered it and now is largely requested when friends and family get together. I usually use the grill but you can make them in the oven if you prefer. I have also made my own stuffing but it is much more convenient to visit the local fish counter.

Ingredients
Serves: 24- 1 can premium crabmeat
- 2 pints seafood stuffing
- 1 onion minced
- several cloves minced garlic
- 1 bunch scallions or green onion cut into 3/8″ lengths
- 1 can tiny shrimp
- 24 stuffing mushrooms
- 1/4 pound bacon
Preparation method
Prep: 30 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. reheat outdoor grill to low-medium heat or oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine crabmeat, seafood stuffing, onion, garlic, scallions, and shrimp and mix well.
3. use a spoon to scrape the mushroom stems out and discard. Use a spoon to stuff the shrooms.
4. Place one dozen of the stuffed mushrooms in an aluminum tin or a grill safe baking dish.
5. Use a second tin for the remaining mushrooms.
6. Cut the bacon into one to two inch strips. Place one piece of the raw bacon on top of each mushroom. cover with aluminum foil.
7. Place on grill and close lid for 30-35 minutes or in oven.
