Petits fours frosting recipe details
Ingredients
260 g | white sugar |
⅛ tsp | cream of tartar |
240 ml | water |
150 g | confectioners’ sugar |
Instructions
Stir together the white sugar, cream of tartar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and stirring occasionally.When the mixture is very syrupy, remove from heat, and gradually stir in confectioners’ sugar until the icing is thick enough to coat a spoon.
Use while warm, or reheat over simmering water.
