Petits Fours Frosting recipe

|260 g||white sugar|
|⅛ tsp||cream of tartar|
|150 g||confectioners’ sugar|
Stir together the white sugar, cream of tartar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and stirring occasionally.
When the mixture is very syrupy, remove from heat, and gradually stir in confectioners’ sugar until the icing is thick enough to coat a spoon.
Use while warm, or reheat over simmering water.
