Pecan pralines recipe details
- Ingredients
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tablespoons cane syrup
- 4 cups pecan halves
Note: Praline are best eaten the day they are made!
Mix sugars, butter, and milk in 3-quart saucepan and slowly bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add pecans and continue to cook to soft ball stage. Remove from heat, stir well, and drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper or a marble slab, well greased. Eat when cooled and hardened.
