Ingredients
500 g | pasta |
200 g | fresh spinach, stems removed, thoroughly washed |
5 | shallots, chopped |
4 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
2 tbsp | butter |
200 ml | single cream |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
nutmeg |
Instructions
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.In the meantime, heat the butter in a saucepan and fry the shallots and the garlic until lucent. Add the dripping wet spinach and cook stirring until wilted. Pour in the cream and simmer until thickened. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Drain the cooked pasta and add the spinach sauce. Toss and serve immediately.
