Pasta with spinach cream cheese and turkey recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | creamed spinach, frozen, thawed |
2 | onions, chopped |
salt and pepper | |
nutmeg | |
1 | chili pepper, seeded and sliced |
400 g | turkey breast, cut into stripes |
400 g | pasta of your choice |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
75 g | cream cheese |
4 tbsp | milk |
4 tbsp | freshly grated Parmesan cheese |
Instructions
In a saucepan combine the spinach and the milk. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Stir in the cream cheese. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain.
In a pan heat the oil and stir-fry the turkey stripes for 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the onions and the chili and cook for 3 more minutes.
In a large bowl, mix together the pasta and spinach and top with the turkey stripes. Serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
