Pasta and spinach au gratin recipe details
Ingredients
300 g | macaroni |
salt and pepper | |
450 g | spinach, frozen |
200 g | single cream |
1 clove(s) | garlic |
freshly ground nutmeg | |
400 g | tomatoes |
250 g | Feta cheese |
Instructions
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.In a saucepan, heat the frozen spinach with the single cream and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes. Press in the garlic. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Preheat the broiler of the oven. Dice the tomatoes and crumble the feta cheese.
In a shallow casserole dish, layer the pasta, the spinach and the tomatoes in turn. Sprinkle with the cheese and cook under the broiler for 7 minutes or until golden brown.
