Ingredients
Serves: 2- 1/4 cup uncooked instant rice
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Dash pepper
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 40 mins1. Gently mix rice, milk, onion, salt, celery salt, garlic salt, pepper, and ground beef together in a bowl. Form into 4 meatballs.
2. Pour canola oil into a skillet and place over medium-high heat. Brown off the meatballs in hot oil (about 5 minutes), then pour out the excess oil in the skillet. Add tomato sauce, water, and Worcestershire sauce.
3. When sauce comes to a low boil, cover the skillet. Simmer on low heat for 30 to 35 minutes, until meatballs have cooked through and are no longer pink in the middle.
