Parsley sauce recipe details
Ingredients
350 ml | milk |
50 g | flour |
50 g | butter |
4 tbsp | parsley, finely chopped |
1 tbsp | single cream |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.Remove from heat, pour in the milk and keep stirring. Bring to the boil and then cook for about five minutes, stirring from time to time.
When the sauce is smooth and creamy, remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and cream. Season to taste.
