Parmesan puff pastry twists recipe details
Ingredients1. Freshly grated parmesan cheese (1c)
2. dried basil (1tsp)
3. melted butter (1/4c)
4. puff pastry sheets, frozen or thawed (1package)
5. garlic powder (1/4tsp)
Method of preparation
1. First heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Take puff pastry sheets, open them on the floured surface. Cut the sheet into strips of about ¾ inch by 10 inches.
2. Take a shallow dish, mix basil, cheese and garlic powder in it. Take pastry strips and apply the melted butter on it. To coat sides of the pastry, roll it in the cheese mixture.
3. Take a baking sheet, grease it lightly and give a twist to the pastry sticks and then place on the sheet. Place the sheet in oven and bake it for about 12 minutes.
4. Take out the sheet from oven and keep it to cool on rack. When it gets ready then serve it on the side of meal or with soup.
