Ingredients

1 pack(s) vanilla store-bought cake mix, or your own (already made)
12  oreos (1 pack)
6 pack(s) rainbow food colouring (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)
1 pack(s) flavoured icing of your choice, store-bought or your own (already made)
decoration of your choice (on top of the icing)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees fan-forced.

Line a cupcake holder with patty pans and grease them. Put one oreo in each patty pan.

Combine the vanilla cupcake mix with liquid according to package instructions and stir until smooth. Equally divide the mixture into 6 different containers. Add 2 drops of red food colouring to the first container of vanilla cupcake mix. Add 2 drops of orange to the next container of cupcake mix, do not add it to the same container with the red! Add 2 drops of yellow to the next container of cupcake mix. Add 2 drops of green to the next container of cupcake mix. Add 2 drops of blue to the next container of cupcake mix. Add 2 drops of purple to the next container of cupcake mix.

Mix the food colouring and the vanilla cupcake mix together, using a different spoon for each colour. Using the spoons, equally separate the cupcake mix into the patty pans. Bake for 30 minutes on 180 degrees or until a skewer is put in and when taken out, clean.

When baked, take out the cupcakes and put on a wire rack to cool.

45 minutes later, come back and spread icing on top, use an icing bag if needed. Sprinkle your decoration on top.

Enjoy!
