Omelette with asparagus and cheese recipe details
Ingredients
750 g | asparagus, woody ends removed |
½ tbsp | sugar |
some | salt and pepper |
8 | eggs |
4 tbsp | single cream |
1 bunch(es) | chives, chopped |
2 tbsp | butter |
120 g | grated cheese (Cheddar or Gouda) |
Instructions
Cook the asparagus in salted water until al dente. Drain and slice.Beat the eggs in a bowl. Stir in the cream and the chives. Season with salt and pepper.
Melt ½ tablespoon of butter in a pan. Ladle ¼ of the egg mixture, the asparagus and the cheese into the hot butter and bake the omelette until set and golden. Serve immediately. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
