Ingredients
Serves: 1- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon jelly
- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- 1 pinch salt
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 5 mins1. Mix together oats and milk in a sauce pan on a medium heat until the oats become starchy. Quickly add in the jelly and mix for about thirty seconds. Pour the oats and jelly onto a slice of bread.Top with salt.(It’s important to add the salt AFTER you cook the oats.) Top with the second slice. Some good fillers for this sandwich include strawberries, brown sugar, or a cooked banana.
