Oatmeal raisin chocolate chip bars recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-3/4 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Combine flour, baking soda, and spices; set aside. In a separate bowl, mix softened butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Gradually add flour mixture and oats alternately while mixing on low speed. Stir in raisins and chocolate chips by hand.
Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool and cut into bars.
