Northwestern smoked salmon quiche recipe details
- Ingredients Filling:
- One 9-inch frozen pie crust
- 1/2 large avocado, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup smoked salmon, crumbled
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon lemon or lime juice
- 3/4 cup medium cheddar, crumbled
- Ingredients Custard:
- 3/4 cup half & half cream
- 2 eggs
- 1/8 cup white wine
- dash nutmeg
- salt and pepper to taste
Layer filling ingredients in pie crust in order listed. Combine custard ingredients; mix well and pour over filling ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes until golden and set. Cover pie crust rim after 15 minutes to prevent burning.
