Ingredients
3 | nectarines, sliced |
200 g | red grapes, seedless, hakved |
400 g | canned pineapple chunks, drained and juice reserved |
200 g | sugar |
½ tsp | ground ginger |
¼ tsp | ground nutmeg |
1 stick(s) | cinnamon |
240 ml | water |
60 ml | lemon juice |
3 tbsp | cornstarch |
3 tbsp | rum |
Instructions
Combine the liwuid from the pineapples with the sugar, ginger, allspice, cinnamon, water and lemon juice to the pineapple juice. Cook on medium heat until boiling. Stir and continue to cook.
Blend the cornstarch into the rum and slowly stir into the hot sauce. Cook unitl thickened.
Add the nectarines, grapes and pineapple chunks to the hot syrup and continue to cook until fruit is tender.
Serve over pound cake.
