Mushroom crostini recipe details
Ingredients
40 | crostini bread slices, pre-packed |
or | |
1 | baguette, sliced into 40 slices |
500 g | mushrooms |
6 clove(s) | garlic. minced |
1 tsp | thyme, dried |
8 tsp | white truffle oil |
4 tbsp | Cheddar cheese, grated |
1 tbsp | parsley, chopped |
3 tbsp | butter for frying |
some | olive oil for brushing |
Instructions
Lightly brush bread slices with olive oil and broil for 2 to 3 minutes on both sides.Place mushrooms, garlic and butter in a pan and sauté over medium heat until all liquid has evaporated. Transfer mushrooms to a large bowl to cool slightly. Season with parsley, dried thyme, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Spoon one tsp on each slice of bread and drizzle with a little truffle oil. Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
