Ingredients

225 g chocolate chips
2 tbsp coffee powder, instant
2 tsp water, boiling
120 g flour, all purpose
¾ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
125 g butter, softened
125 g sugar
125 g sugar, brown
1  egg(s)
125 g walnuts, chopped

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C)

Melt 225g chocolate chips over hot water or in a microwave and then stir until smooth. Cool to room temperature.

Dissolve coffe in a small cup in boiling water and set aside.

Make a mixure out of flour, soda, and salt; set aside.

In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar and coffee; beat until creamy. Add egg and melted chocolate; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in remaining chocolate chips and walnuts.

With a spoon put tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350F (175° C) for 10-12 minutes.

Cool for 2-3 minutes before removing from cookie sheets; then cool completely.
