Mixed fish in lemon sauce recipe details
Ingredients
3 | tuna steaks |
3 | plaice fillets |
100 g | shrimp, ready to cook |
1 | lemon |
salt and pepper | |
1 tbsp | flour |
1 tbsp | butter |
250 ml | fish stock |
rapeseed oil |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 80°C.In a wide ovenproof pan, heat the butter. Add the flour and cook stirring over medium heat until the mixture is smooth and yellowish. Whisk in the stock and bring to a boil, stirring constantly with a wire whisk. Cook for approximately 10 minutes. Season to taste the sauce with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Transfer the pan into the oven.
In a small saucepan, bring salted water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook until the shrimp turn pink and are just cooked. Drain the shrimp and add to the sauce.
In another pan, heat some oil. Fry the tuna steaks until just cooked, they should still be very slightly translucent in the middle. When overcooked they become dry. Season with salt and pepper and place into the sauce too. In the remaining oil briefly fry the plaice fillets, they are done in a minute. Season with salt and pepper and add to the tuna and shrimp.
Serve with rice or boiled potatoes and green vegetables, e.g. asparagus or green beans.
