Mexican green beans picante details
- Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 3/4 pound bacon
Snap beans in half and rinse (cut off ends). Fry together chopped garlic, onion, and bacon. When golden brown, pour away some of bacon grease. Pour fried onion, garlic, and bacon (plus some grease) into large pot. Add snapped green beans. Cover with water and simmer until tender.
