Mexican baked egg puff recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 10 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 4 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- One 4.5-ounce can diced green chiles
- Salsa
- Sour cream
Beat eggs until lemon colored. Add flour, baking powder, salt, cottage cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and butter. Mix until smooth. Add chiles and stir. Pour mixture into a buttered 9 x 13-inch glass baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until firm and slightly brown. Serve with salsa and sour cream.
