Meat fillets in balsamic vinegar sauce recipe details
Ingredients
4 slice(s) | meat fillets |
60 ml | meat stock |
80 ml | balsamic vinegar |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tsp | cornstarch |
1 dash(es) | lemon juice |
1 pinch(es) | pepper |
4 tbsp | olive oil |
Instructions
Cook fillets in four tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over low heat, about 4 minutes each side. Set the cooked meat aside and keep war.Using the same skillet mix together the stock, balsamic vinegar, pepper, lemon and garlic. Bring to a boil, and let it reduce a bit. Add the teaspoon of cornstarch and whisk it in.
When the sauce has thickened, return the fillets to the skillet and turn off heat. Let fillets warm up and then serve.
Variation:Substitute the fillets with chicken breasts.
