Mashed chicken details
Ingredients
- Chicken – 1 kg
- Ginger/garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder (haldi) – ½ tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Green chilies – 6 (chopped)
- Tomatoes – ½ kg
- Onion – 1 (chopped)
- Coriander powder – ½ tsp
- Cumin seeds (zeera) – ½ tsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves (hara dhania) – 1tbsp (chopped)
- Lemon – for garnishing
Instructions
- Peel tomatoes and mash.
- Boil chicken and shred
- Heat oil in a wok (karahi) and fry onion till golden
- Add ginger/garlic paste, red chilies, turmeric, salt, cumin seeds and coriander. Fry.
- Once masala is fried, add mashed tomatoes, salt and shredded chicken.
- Mix thoroughly. Fry
- Remove from the flame when oil surfaces
- Take out in a dish. Sprinkle with fresh coriander and green chillies
- Garnish with lemon and serve
