- Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cup milk
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup uncooked oats
- 1 Tablespoon oil
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1 Tablespoon molasses
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Combine milk and oats for at least 5 minutes (15 works better). Add oil and eggs, mix well. Stir in sifted dry ingredients and mix until just moistened. Bake on hot, lightly oiled (or sprayed with non-stick spray) griddle, using 1/4 cup per pancake. Turn when top is bubbly and edges are slightly dry.
