Marinated pumpkin in asia sauce recipe details
Ingredients
1 medium | Hokkaido pumpkin, diced |
5 tbsp | walnut oil |
1 tbsp | rice vinegar |
1 tbsp | soy sauce |
2 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
2 tsp | brown sugar |
1 tbsp | honey |
1 tsp | herb salt |
2 tbsp | sesame seed |
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix together the oil, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, sugar, honey and the herb salt. Add the pumpkin dices and mix well. Marinade the pumpkin dices for 3 hours.Preheat the oven to 150°C.
Divide the marinated pumpkin on a lined baking tray. Sprinkle with sesame seed and bake for 40-45 minutes or until the pumpkin is soft, but still a bit firm to the bite. Check seasoning and correct if necessary.
