Asia style roast duck breasts recipe details
Ingredients
2 g | duck breasts |
8 tbsp | soy sauce |
1 | red chili pepper, sliced |
4 | shallots, chopped |
4 tbsp | sesame oil |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
3 tbsp | dry white wine |
2 tbsp | sesame seeds |
2 tbsp | water |
Instructions
Mix 6 tablespoons of the soy sauce with the wine and ˝ tablespoon of pepper. Turn the duck breast in the marinade and leave to soak for 30 minutes.Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the duck breasts skin side up into a casserole dish. Bake for 20 minutes. Brush the duck breasts with the marinade several times while baking.
In a pan, heat the oil. Sauté the shallots until lucent. Stir in the chili and the sesame seeds and cook for a minute. Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and the water. Cover and simmer for 2 minutes.
Cut the duck breasts into slices and serve with the sauce.
