Marinated Plum Chicken Breast recipe

|600 g||chicken breast fillets, trimmed|
|120 g||plum sauce|
|½ tsp||Chinese five-spice powder|
|2 tsp||ginger, finely grated|
|2 clove(s)||garlic, sliced|
|2 tbsp||vegetable oil|
|2 tbsp||light soy sauce|
|2 handful||sugar peas, blanched|
|soy sauce, to serve|
|steamed rice, to serve|
Place chicken, plum sauce, five-spices, ginger, garlic and oil in a bowl and toss to coat. Set aside for 20-30 minutes to marinate.
Preheat oven (170ºC, fan-forced). Bake chicken in a baking tray for about 30 to 40 minutes, turning twice until cooked through.
Slice the chicken and serve with steamed rice, peas and soy sauce.
Tip: Serve with Asian greens like bok choy
