Maple walnut muffins, recipe Rating: 4.5

Ingredients
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup oats
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1 cup sour cream
5 Tablespoons butter, softened
2 eggs
3/4 cup real maple syrup
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray medium-size muffin tins with non-stick cooking spray. Mix dry ingredients together. In a separate bowl, mix together wet ingredients. Add wet ingredients to dry; scoop batter into muffin tin. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Spin pan around halfway through cooking time. Let cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove from muffin pan.

Yield: 12 medium muffins
