One of the original cocktails, it’s best with rye whiskey but bourbon works in a pinch, though bourbon makes it sweeter. Shake or stir.
Ready in: 5 mins

Ingredients

Serves: 1
  • Ice
  • 2 ounces rye whiskey
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Maraschino cherry or lemon twist for garnish
