Ingredients
2 part(s) | self-raising flour |
1 part(s) | sugar |
1 part(s) | dried mixed fruit, or chopped apricots, or dried cranberries) |
1 part(s) | milk |
2 tbsp | treacle |
Instructions
You can use any size of cup or beaker, out of the cupboard. Preheat the oven to 180°C, 170° if a fan oven.Mix all ingredients together, if you use an electric mixer, be careful not to mix too fast or it will chop up the fruit.
Line the base of a loaf tin with paper. If not a non-stick tin, line the sides as well.
Bake at 180°C, about 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the centre comes out clean. Baking time depends on the size of cup you have used.
Leave to cool slightly in the tin.
Serve sliced with or without butter.
Keeps very well in fridge or freezer.
