Lowbush cranberry butter recipe details
- Ingredients:
- One 1/2-pound tub margarine, room temperature
- 1/2 pound butter or cube margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped raw lowbush cranberries
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup ground walnuts or pecans
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 Tablespoon orange rind
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
Whip butter at high speed with electric mixer until pale yellow. Add cranberries, brown sugar, honey, walnuts or pecans, cranberry sauce, and orange and lemon rind; whip until light pink. Butter can be frozen. Serve over Treehouse Signature Sourdough Pancakes.
