- Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 Tablespoons vanilla extract
- 2 Tablespoons almond extract
- 3-1/2 to 4 cups flour
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder
- 2 Tablespoons anise seed
- 3/4 cup coarsely chopped almonds
Mix together sugar, oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Mix in flour, baking powder, anise seed, and almonds until dough detaches from side of bowl. Shape into 3 or 4 loaves. Bake on greased sheet at 375 degrees for 30 minutes (or until fawn-colored). Slice diagonally while warm. Enjoy!
