3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 eggs
1 cup oil
1 pint lemon yogurt
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup finely chopped blanched almonds
1-3/4 cups sugar
1 Tablespoon lemon extract

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Stir in nuts and set aside. Beat eggs in large mixing bowl. Add oil and sugar and cream well. Add lemon yogurt and extract. Combine wet and dry ingredients; beat thoroughly. Spoon batter into 2 well greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pans or one large bundt pan.

Bake one hour or until toothpick inserted in center of bread comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn out on wire rack and continue cooling.
